The Heart of Winter Ornament with the CreateAlongBox

The Heart of Winter Ornament by Patricia Krauchune

This winter ornament was made by using the November Winter Wonderland CreateAlongBox.com box from CreateAlong.com   This month the CreateAlongBox included a 2-way silkscreen, a Texture Stax with 6 different crystal designs, a snowflakes silicone mold, a chipboard ornament to cover with clay, some DewDrop Brillance Heat-set ink and Sparkly icy mica powdered pigments. I added a glass ornament in the middle and filled it with vintage glass glitter and some mica flakes.  I finished the edges with vintage glass glitter. And of course I had to include some ball chain for a slight steampunk look.

Halloween & Fall Polymer Clay Pumpkin Ornament

Make the cutest polymer clay pumpkin ornament in just a few easy steps. Fall and Halloween are on their way and these pumpkin ornaments are perfect accents for decorating with. Think about how you can adapt a simple Christmas ornament into other fun projects like this. I like to use things for what they are not intended for. LOL I used the lotus kaleidoscope mandala for this project but you can change it up with different silkscreens, stamps and coloration. As I always say the sky is the limit!

The Holidays are here on Polymer Clay TV

I love adding that handmade touch to my gifts and packages and of course I make tags and ornaments out of polymer clay. I love this new bird ornament we got in and I knew I had to incorporate it into my holiday tags and ornaments in a fun way. I used our ruffled edge graduated cookie cutters and added the decorated bird to it and stamped the word joy into it with our metal stamps and added some Gilding Polish. Create along with us on Polymer Clay TV and make your own. They are quick and easy and you can make them to add to gifts, drape them on a wine bottle for a great hostess gift, use as tree ornaments, make tags and more! If you want to learn how to make 12 fabulous ornaments don't forget to join us on Polymer Clay Holiday adventure. too!
