A Song in My Heart Polymer Clay Embellished Tin

The theme for the February Create Along Box was Music Soothes the Soul!  The box was packed with creative goodies - a silkscreen, Magic Transfer Paper, a Deco Disk, gorgeous metallic blue paint, musical themed ribbon, colorful music note confetti, awesome sculpting tools, and a great tin just begging to be altered!   I combined several of the goodies from my box to embellish the tin.  The heart cutter from my January Create Along Box was the perfect way to create the "window" to hold the confetti.

One Box - Many Projects!

Klio Tsaliki has been busy creating with the January Create Along Box!  Here's a look at some of the projects she has shared so far.

The beads above are "1000 and 1 nights" themed and made with the acrylic stamp deco disc. Stamped on clay, cut using a cookie cutter, folded and pressed to stick and then applied some mica powder. Holes will be drilled depending on the project.

Stencil was used as what it is. I applied some white acrylic color to highlight the micas used after acrylic dried. Double sided keychain, faux leather holder made of polymer clay.  Sealed with liquid clay.

Silk screen used on pearl grey clay to make this key chain. Used the heart  cookie cutter. Double sided, liquid clay sealed.

Mica shift technique using as texture sheet the lace piece.
Micas were used to add some shine and piece was sealed with liquid clay.

Magic transfer paper used on white clay. Pattern was sealed with liquid clay, baked and painted over the first liquid clay layer, then sealed again with liquid clay.

What would YOU create with a Create Along Box?
