How to make a polymer clay bezel using an extruder and create a shiny Kato Medium glass like finish

Create Along with Kira today as she creates a beautiful faux metal bezel around a silkscreened cabochon, and then makes that coveted glass-like Kato medium finish very easily. We get lots of questions about how to do this effect and today's trick takes just 30 seconds!

You will need a pre-baked cabochon, any shape and size, that you would like to use to create the bezel around. This one is silkscreened polymer clay with a pattern, but you could use any clay one or even a glass or gemstone cab if you like, the techniques are the same (except for the Kato clay at the end).

An extruder helps for this project to create a uniform bezel edge, and Gilding Polish was used to make the metallic look.

Great easy to follow tutorial. I especially love the Kato Sauce tip to get that finish.
