I went to the Tallahassee Guild retreat, and here's a demo of what I worked on that day

Plus some photos of the day's events so you can get an idea of what it's like to go to a clay day with lots of stuff going on!
There was a pot luck lunch centered around a fabulous pot of chili made by Barbara, and I got to see some quick demos of what other people were working on, plus a more complex demonstration given by Helen Bellenot about how to Gelli print on polymer clay! OMG! That one technique was worth the whole trip, because it really got me inspired.

I also got to spend the weekend with Oona, who I met at Polymer Clay Adventure and now I have made a real life friend :)

That is one of the reasons Ilysa and I created Polymer Clay Adventure- an online experience takes you beyond who you could meet in your own neighborhood and connects you with the world. So if you are not able to attend a local event for whatever reason, there is an online retreat for you.

I learned this foil method as the "Pavelka Peel".
